- About 400 students at Pace High School in Santa Rosa County, Florida painted crosses on their mortar boards and stood and recited the Lord's Prayer (along with numerous parents in the audience) recently in defiance of the A.C.L.U.'s lawsuit against the school and threats to silence students from exercising their First Amendment free exercise rights. Out of the mouths of babes.
- The state supreme court in South Carolina just told Republican Governor Mark Sanford that he must accept about $700 million in federal stimulus bailout money that he had until now refused; not wanting the federal strings that are attached. He should tell the court to go pound sand. They were not elected governor.
- Great Britain, Sweden, Germany and France among other E.U. states have just lurched solidly to the right in their recent elections. The collectivist, neo-fascist system is obviously not working. Obama check your blackberry.
- Governor Schwarzengger in California is toying with a state flat income tax and talk is swirling about getting out of the welfare business altogether. Will that mean that millions of illegal aliens in California will go back to Mexico, or just move north to Oregon and Washington?
